Edit1: Once, there was a gym leader named Shot.
Shot had one shot too many was a shot that was too much for the shooter who got shot once by the nerf shot gun and proceeded to get dazed by the shot in a shotty way to which one shot would miss his mark if he ever tried to shoot a shot at a shot target. You see, Shot isn't the best at shooting shots anyway, but the one shot shot his ability to really shoot a shot, cuz a shot scientifically requires shooting shots in a non-shotty way. Thus, if one takes too much of a shot, like Shot did with the one-shot, then the shot would not shoot very well at the shot target. Then again, if Shot had practiced and pushed himself to get better, instead of saying he wanted to rather than actually doing it, like a writer that says that writing is hard but doesn't try harder to do it, then he'd be a better at shooting shots at a shot target and maybe would have more shotty trophies under his shotty belt.
Edit2: The word "sHot" is not a stand in for the curse word, atheists.
